'NineteenSeventyNine'

'NinteenSeventyNine' are an alternative rock band from London. The three turned Four Piece band consists of Josh Seventynine (Vocals/Guitar) Joe Wicking (Guitar) Adam Dixon (Bass) and Seb Hancock (Drums). The band has become known for their outspoken views on fellow Musicians, rammshackle yet promising gigs across the capital, being plugged by XFM DJ Steve Harris live on air, being jokingly called the future of rock by NME magazine and managing to slowly build a following.

King Post Kitsch

Late last year (2009) under the King Post Kitsch moniker Charlie recorded and released a free eponymous digital EP which to his delight many people downloaded. Some friends joined him for the release of his second free EP, Monomaniac. More folks downloaded that one and some people wrote some nice things about it too. King Post Kitsch are now signed to Song, By Toad Records with whom they will release their debut album this year. A real analogue one you can hold and everything.

OZ

1. Oz is a Finnish heavy metal band in the 80's. They're not very well known these days but they were among the first and most succesful bands and did some solid groundwork for the Finnish metal scene that blooms today. The band retired after releasing the "Roll the Dice" album, but reunited, located in Sweden, in February 2010. The band has, until this day, released 5 studio albums, 1 EP, Two singles and has appeared on "Scandinavian Metal Attack" splits 1 & 2.

Pocket Venus

Pocket Venus are a rock band from Conwy in North Wales. The band's sound has been difficult to pigeonhole as they have such a diverse range of sounds, however, many critics have compared the group to classic rock bands such as Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin for the progressive rock dynamics and comparisons of the precise orchestration and song writing techniques of bands like The Verve and Spiritualized were also abundant in reviews.
