In 2006 her record "We Don't Belong" first recorded in 1965, was featured on a Rhino Records compilation set "The Hatbox collection" "Girl Groups Lost and Found" which gained two Grammy Award nominations in January 2007. Otep is a nu metal band formed in 2000 in Los Angeles, California by Otep Shamaya. The band originally formed as a four-piece nu metal band and were invited to play Ozzfest before they had even signed to a label after Sharon Osbourne witnessed a brief part of their live performance. They've since played Ozzfest several times. Otep have since released five full-length albums featuring many session musicians including Greg Wells, Joey Jordison of Slipknot, Koichi Fukuda of Static-X, Emilie Autumn, Tony Campos of Soulfly and Asesino (ex-Static-X), and Ulrich Wild.

BirdPen are a British alternative rock band. They are Mike Bird, Dave Pen and James Livingston Seagull. They formed in 2004 and refuse to say where they actually come from. They refer to home as The Village, not revealing what exactly they mean by this. They refer to Bill Hicks and the music and movies of John Carpenter as their primary influences. The band released three EP’s, 1 in 54, Be Yourself and Fake Kid between 2004 and 2006, and in that time they have been wearing the black BirdPen uniform and playing across the UK and Europe with their 21st century Doom Groove show.
