Dabrye

Dabrye (pronounced “DAB-ree”) is just one alias of Ghostly artist Tadd Mullinix, who explores with head-nodding beats and saw-tooth bass lines, with a keen eye to forward-thinking production and rhythms. Dabrye has earned considerable praise from both the underground (Jay Dee, Jurassic 5) and the electronic music press, earning him a Next 100 mention from URB in 2002 and praise from publications as diverse as Rolling Stone to The Wire.

DJ Trace

DJ Trace was an early member of the tight-knit crew of producers constituting popular techstep drum'n'bass label No U-Turn. His first crack at broad exposure came through the compilation "Techsteppin'" released on Emotif in 1995. It contained a number of tracks licensed from the No U-Turn studios, and helped seed a new direction in drum'n'bass, one characterized by heavy use of electronics, cavernous beats and basslines, and the dystopian histrionics that have since become trademarks of the No U-Turn/Nu Black sound.

Lusine

Jeff McIlwain has been producing his visceral, melodic strain of abstract electronic music as Lusine for over 10 years now. Originally a Texas native, McIlwain met Shad Scott while living in LA and put out his self titled debut on Scott's imprint, Isophlux. He relocated to Seattle in late 2002 and began steadily releasing his music on Ghostly International. McIlwain has also contributed tracks to various compilations and remix releases on Mute, !K7, Kompakt, Asthmatic Kitty, and Shitkatapult.

IG Culture

IG Culture (real name Ian Grant) is a London musician and performer best known as a pioneer of the broken beat movement. His production features rhythms and hybrids of several musical styles such as jazz-fusion, funk and soul. IG Culture first became known as a member of the hip-hop duo Dodge City Productions in 1990. After the demise of that outfit, he founded an independent record label One Drop Interouter which released four albums. Later, he worked with the People and founded the Main Squeeze labels.

Kaidi Tatham

Kaidi Tatham (also known as Agent K) is a member of the Bugz in the Attic collective, keys player for The Herbaliser Band on stage and involved in many projects, most notably his collaborations with 4hero's Dennis McFarlane: 2000Black, DKD (with Daz-I-Kue), Silhouette Brown and Da One Away (with Ian Grant aka IG Culture). Kaidi has been working with his Bitasweet label-mates on various projects, including Neon Phusion (with Alex Phountzi and Afronaught), blakai (with Mark Force), Misa Negra (with Daz-I-Kue)...

Seiji

Seiji, started in music as a classically trained cellist, but in the early 1990s he discovered Hardcore, Jungle and later US House music and began producing a few years later. His first releases came out through the seminal Jungle/Drum & Bass label, Reinforced, culminating in an album with his production partner at the time, G-Force. The G-Force & Seiji album, Just Another Number. At the same time Seiji started collaborating with Orin Walters (Afronaught) and together they formed Bugz in the Attic which grew into a collective of 8 individuals based in West London.
