From the damp and misty woods of New Hampshire emerges the second full length from psychedelic jam warriors MMOSS. The minute we heard the band's 2011 debut on Burger Records they immediately rocketed to the front of our release "wish list". Recorded by the band themselves at home "Only Children" is everything we could have hoped for. The songs swirl and shimmer as the vocals waver and glide together like the trippiest acid test light show. 'Only Children' is a decidedly heavier trip than the debut album paring down the sheer number of tracks in favor of expanded blasts of musical mayhem.

White Fence's trippy, distortion-laced, psychedelic pop-influenced tunes (sounding, in other words, something along the lines of a warped cassette tape featuring The Left Banke or The Merry-Go-Round) are the brainchild of Timothy Presley (also a member of the like-minded groups Strange Boys and Darker My Love). The project's self-titled debut was released on the Woodsist label in the spring of 2010. For the project's next release, White Fence Is Growing Faith , Presley didn't change much. The January 2011 album follows the same sometimes goofy, always trippily tuneful template of the debut.

Garage-pop or punk-powerpop? Glow Kit don’t gamble on horses – the aesthetics here are dirty, catchy and hard-hitting. In a time when the term ‘pop music’ is luckily no longer a curse word among picky music lovers, we need musicians who know how to write a good pop song. No matter what genre or style this melody relates to! In this case, the Aarhus, Denmark duo devise a blend of garage rock / punk / power pop that draws on inspiration from musicians such as The Beat, Black Lips, the late Jay Reatard and others.
