Royal Republic is a Swedish rock band formed in Malm
The Leaves were an American garage band formed in California in 1963. They are best known for their version of the song "Hey Joe", which was a hit in 1966. Theirs is the earliest release of this song, which became a rock standard. Guitarist Bobby Arlin was subsequently in The Hook, while bassist/vocalist Jim Pons also played with Frank Zappa and The Turtles.
In short, Al Lover is a producer from San Francisco, but there's more layers to his wall of sound then meets the ear. Over the last few years he has gained much notoriety for his melding of contemporary and past garage and psychedelic rock into harsh yet spacey abrasive beats. Equal Parts 13th Floor Elevators and DJ Shadow, Al Combines crunchy drums, shaky percussion, chopped samples and layers of textured effects to create an unexplored path for psychedelic music.
The villagers are a singer-songwriter duo (of which, by the way, you almost always only see one member so that's a bit vague) whose music is mostly about love, but in a fairly non-cheesy focussed way.
Although they already have released several records - both on vinyl and cd's - so far their songs remain non-officially "published", hence they don't have any videoclips or anything.
