2. A British indie rock band 1. The Wallflowers are a band which formed in 1989 in Los Angeles, California, United States. The band's only constant member has been singer/guitarist Jakob Dylan, the son of folk rock legend Bob Dylan. The Wallflowers have released five albums: "The Wallflowers" (1992), "Bringing Down the Horse" (1996), "Breach" (2000), "Red Letter Days" (2002) and "Rebel, Sweetheart" (2005).

Dead Letter Opener

Formed in early 2005 in Brisbane, Australia. Dead Letter Opener met whilst they were studying music and technology at a Brisbane University, and initially formed the group to complete a recording project imperative to two of the members studies. The potential of becoming a full-time was realised almost immediately and DLO set out to finalise their debut EP and secure national distribution for it. Managing to record and produce the entire EP as a band with help from a friend from University, who is now their full-time live sound engineer...

Spiderbait

Spiderbait are an band formed in 1991 in Finley, New South Wales, Australia which consists of Mark "Kram" Maher (drums, lead vocals), Janet English (bass, vocals) and Damien Whitty (guitar). They have had two top ten albums and another three albums reach the Australian top 40. Their song Buy Me A Pony was #1 on the Triple J Hottest 100 for 1996, and the group enjoyed success with their 2004 #1 Australian hit cover of Black Betty.

The Movielife

The Movielife was a pop-punk band from Baldwin, New York (Long Island). Formed in 1997, the band put out its first full-length, It's Go Time, in 1999 on Fadeaway Records. By this point, the classic lineup of Vinnie Caruana (vocals), Brandon Reilly (guitar), Alex Amiruddin (guitar), Phil Navetta (bass) and Evan Baken (drums) had coalesced. The band built up a strong local following on the strength the album and their live show, and soon jumped to Revelation Records, releasing This Time Next Year in 2000.

Normandie is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 2009, featuring vocalist Aimee Echo and multi-instrumentalists Jamie Miller and Chelsea Davis who also makeup 3/4 of the dance rock band theSTART. Their sound is likened to Blonde Redhead, My Bloody Valentine, Pixies, Portishead, Sonic Youth and the soundscaping of Brain Eno. They display a visceral take on rock and roll, art rock and ambient music, allying them to current groups such as Autolux, the Duke Spirit, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Sigur Ros.
