Marcelo D2 (born Marcelo Maldonado Gomes Peixoto, November 5, 1967, in Rio De Janeiro) is a Brazilian rapper . Very acclaimed by young people, he is known for his unique style of rapping, which blends in the traditional Brazilian samba. Marcelo D2 started his carrer as the lead singer of the band Planet Hemp, and now follows a solo career since 1998, but claiming that "I haven't given in yet, only joined a foe I can't beat".

Brazilian glam rock band from Goiania, GO, formed in 2003. They mix influences from various indie bands like Placebo, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Interpol and also some from the Brazilian pop rock scene, like Pato Fu, Ira and Titas. With Rodrigo Feoli on vocals, the band has released their first demo. VEJA, a Brazilian magazine, relate an episode when Valentina has opened a Placebo show in Brasilia, Brazil. When they ended their presentation, Brian Molko's secretary asked Rodrigo Feoli which eye liner he was using in his eyes.

Lovefoxxx (stage name of Luísa Hanaê Matsushita, born on February 25, 1984 in Campinas, Brazil) is the Brazilian lead singer of indie-electro band CSS. Lovefoxxx is of Japanese descent. Since the age of 16, she has been an illustrator and fashion design assistant. However, in recent years she has abandoned this profession to better dedicate herself to her music career. She is known for stage diving many times during CSS' concerts and intense live performances, as well as for her colourful clothes and vintage fashion.

Sepultura is a Brazilian thrash metal band, formed in 1983. Their name means "grave" in Portuguese, which they chose after Max Cavalera, one of the founding members, was translating the lyrics of the Motörhead song "Dancing on Your Grave". Sepultura was formed in Belo Horizonte, Brazil in 1983 by Max Cavalera (guitars and vocals), his younger brother Igor Cavalera (drums), Paulo Pinto (bass) and Jairo Guedes (guitars).
