Helix

There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Helix is a heavy metal band that formed in 1974 for a Battle of the Bands contest in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada and is best known for their 1984 single "Rock You". The original lineup consisted of singer Brian Vollmer, guitarists Brent Doerner and Paul Hackman, bassist Keith Zurbrigg and drummer Brian Doerner. In 1992, Hackman died when the group's van rolled down a 40-foot enbankment after a concert in Vancouver.

Livin' Joy

Livin' Joy is a house music group from Italy who released two successful dance hits in the nineties. In 1994, fronted by American lead singer Janice Robinson, they hit number one on the U.S. Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart with "Dreamer." The song turned out to be a mild sleeper hit on pop radio, finally entering the Hot 100 in early 1995. It peaked at number 72 and spent seventeen weeks on the chart. The song had a more successful run on the Official UK singles charts, hitting the number one spot after being re-issued (its original run in late 1994 had taken it to #18).

Storm Large is the dramatic, vivacious singer of Storm and The Balls in Portland, Oregon. Storm came to national attention when she appeared as a contestant on the CBS reality television show Rock Star: Supernova. Dave Navarro, ex Red Hot Chili Peppers and Jane's Addiction guitarist, recorded a guitar track on her single "Ladylike."
