Minor Sounds is the work of a Croatian singer/songwriter Mirna Stanich based in Brighton. The songs on her first album called “Super Komputer” have been recorded with a friend producer Martin Zietek who made a great contribution to the record taking it a step further. Originally written and arranged as folk songs, throughout the recording stages the music changed into a sound that crosses many genres.
Steven Paul "Elliott" Smith (August 6, 1969 – October 21, 2003) was an American songwriter and musician. Smith was born in Omaha, Nebraska, raised primarily in Texas, and resided for a significant portion of his life in Portland, Oregon, where he first gained popularity. His primary instrument was the guitar, but he was also proficient at piano, clarinet, bass, drums and harmonica. Smith had a distinctive vocal style characterized by his "whispery, spiderweb-thin delivery" and use of multi-tracking to create vocal harmonies.

The Be Good Tanyas are an acoustic trio with folk and americana influences, hailing from Vancouver, British Columbia. Lucky Fonz III (real name: Otto Wichers) (1981) is a Dutch singer-songwriter, based in Amsterdam. His songs has been described as 'folksy and romantic'. In 2006, Lucky Fonz III won 'De Grote Prijs van Nederland' ('The Grand Prize of The Netherlands', Singer/Songwriter category), Holland's number one talent award. Nathan Ball is a singer-songwriter formerly of acoustic duo The Ballinsky Project and the band Nayfumble. He has been writing songs since his teens and at the age of 20 won the North West Song Writing Competition.
