windings

The Space I Occupy/ The Hassle” is the new double A-sided 7” Single from windings, on Out On A Limb Records. Contained within this new release are two very different sides of the always eclectic windings, one part paranoid cowbell boppin’ rant, and the other, an existential lament complete with kids’ choir. Both songs show the band flexing their musical muscles in ways they have perhaps refrained from thus far.

Circus Sands

In fact, they're so nice that they're offering you their first single, 'Not This Time/The Life You Lead' for free download here. The single, by turns a a gentle ode to lost love and a raucous cossack romp, is a perfect sampler of the dynamically folk-tastic Circus Sands sound.
