Major UK hardcore/jungle duo, best known for hardcore anthems This Sound Is For The Underground and The Slammer (on Subbase) and for jungle tunes The Licence and Ganja Man (on their own Tearin Vinyl label).
Often credited as "DJ Krome & Mr Time".
RONIN is the name of multiple musical acts. 1.) Ronin aka Jonathan Axelsson was born in Sweden, and got in touch with music very early in life since both his father and grandfather were musicians. As a young boy he started playing drums, and then continued with piano lessons. In the mid 90's he discovered a new type of music that would change his life forever. The music he heard was called deep house, and struck Jonathan's heart immediately. He now started to produce music in a more serious matter and in 1997 he got in touch with Johan Bacto, which later formed the label PlackTown Sounds.

Martin Damm has been releasing records since 1990 under various project names, the most recurrent ones being Biochip C., Speedfreak, and Search & Destroy. Starting off making german-style EBM techno, he soon became part of the Cologne school around walker, and released on labels such as Monotone, Force Inc., and Dj.ungle Fever. After his increased popularity especially with the dutch gabber scene in 1994 and 1995, Mokum and Shockwave became his home labels.
Tieum became fond of hardcore in '92. He then started DJ'ing and created the Psychiatrik sound-system with friends. Together, they organized lots of raves until '96. In 1995 he released his first record on Kanyar, and then started his own label Psykiatrik Records. The year after, he started the Gobble Records and Tcher No BeatÂ…His sound is influenced by the Dutch sound, but keeping a typical french hardness. He's the producer of Night School Records too.
Rise of The Northstar is a young thrash band whose spirit was born in the back alleys on 1980s Shibuya. Indeed, Japanese culture, mangas and it's "Furyos" are all an integral part of ROTNS's music. Through it's lyrics and imagery distilled winthin the music, the band created a real identity for themselves, unique, close to 90's New York Hardcore, Shonen manga and contemporary metal-core... Tokyo hold on tight, Rise Of The Northstar is coming.
