Having discovered Dubstep in 2007, DFRNT jumped at the opportunity to try his hand at production. He had worked on a number of styles in the past, all developing out of his previous production work on mashups and bootlegs. Within a few weeks, he had worked up a furious remix of Dead Prez’s “Hip Hop” and with a solid base of feedback, decided to work on a number of entirely original tracks. Edd Holmes, better known in the Drum & Bass scene as Optiv, first started his music career in the early 90s working at Dance 2, his local record shop in Guildford. At about the same time he was learning his production skills at SAE in London and also found time to hold a weekend job of assistant engineer at Ministry of Sound nightclub. Having completed his studies, he became a main player for the Drum & Bass outfit Pressure Rise.

There are several artists called The Green Man. 1. The Green Man is the name of an Italian Neofolk band signed under the italian division of Albin Julius' Hau Ruck. Combining middle eastern sounds to western esoteric tradition, the band provides a unique blend of folk, neofolk and prog rock sounds, dealing with diverse subjects: From Lovecraftean themes to gnostic tales, to apolayptic visions of the future.
