Five piece Death Metal outfit hailing from the darkest regions of Essex, Colchester. Formed in late 2009 have been gigging regularly in and around the area. After our 'Hollow Man' EP we have moved on to bigger and better things.

Illuminations is an American band based in Gowanus, Brooklyn. Featuring members Zachary Cale, Ryan Johnson, Kris Benedict & PJ Glauberzon. Their debut album was released in the Fall of 2008, titled SEE-SAW. Do not be confused with the Axiom Records compilation titled "Illuminations". That is where all the Santana/New Agey references come from. Here is the story.
It all began in '92 after Ryan Johnson heard that the new kid, Zach Cale, had got an electric guitar for Christmas. They became fast friends and started their first band together in 1994 called The Astronauts.
After hard work, many lineup changes and release of their 2010 demo I SHALL DEVOUR signed to INFINITE REGRESS RECORDS in the new year of 2011 which put new ideas on the horizon for the bands future. Currently in the process of writing a full length album which is yet to be titled it will feature 11 tracks of raw metal combined with old school death metal and hardcore elements. I SHALL DEVOUR have shared the stage with many great bands over the years of their existence and embarked on a full tour with RISE FOR NOVEMBER.
Biography 1996 - 2003
This is our band-history . . . By Riccardo Ricci PART.1 (1996-1999) Reprisal started out in september '96 from the ashes of a band called Statement, which just released a pretty good demo the year before. Because of that we already had a deal with Cycle Records to record for a split 7" with a band from Parma called Greed. Both me (Riccardo-guitar) and Alex Massa (the singer) were in that band. So we decided to call it quit and move on to a new project mostly because of a band-member who was slowly losing any dignity by falling into fascists behaviours.
Heaven Shall Burn was formed in autumn 1996, under the name 'Consense'. With the recording of their second demo in early 1997 the band changed their name to 'Heaven Shall Burn'. The name is taken from a Marduk album titled "Heaven Shall Burn... When We Are Gathered". In an interview with the band at decoymusic.com, the band said: "It’s not that we’re huge Marduk fans, but we liked the name. It sounds a bit provoking and so people ask us again and again for the meaning behind our name. It has been like that since the very beginning.
