Durrty Goodz, formerly known as Doogz (real name Dwayne Mahorn), is a grime MC from Stratford, East London. He is known for his great versatility, which can be seen in his ability to jump on Grime, Hip-Hop, Bashment, and RnB tracks, although grime is the genre many of his fans favour him spitting over. Blade

1. Born in the Armenian quarter of Iran, Blade came to London aged 7. Within months of arriving, he felt the effect of the Islamic revolution back home. Unable to send money out of the country, Blade’s family could no longer support him. So, with no money, no family, alone in a strange country, Blade’s self-reliance and determination were all he had to see him through. The microphone, the studio and the stage provided his only release.

Newham Generals

Welcome to Newham Generals: a grime trio so hype, Dizzee Rascal signed them personally. Rolling in from Newham - the baddest borough in east London - the Generals are producer-MCs D Double E, Footsie and Monkey. Signed to the Raskitt's Dirtee Stank label, they represent a new era in the expansion of the UK street sound known as grime. Want proof? Check their mixtape, "Welcome to Newham Vol 1" produced in conjunction with underground dons Lord of the Decks. And if you can wait long enough until Dizzee's third album, you'll find Newham General productions on there too.

Over the last two years Kingslee ‘Akala’ Daley, has emerged from London’s hip hop underground as one of the leaders of a new British artistic renaissance. In 2006 Akala won the Best Hip Hop MOBO award for his debut album ‘It’s Not A Rumour’. Since then Akala has rocked live spots on Radio 1 and warmed up for artists as diverse as Jay-Z, Christina Aguilera and Richard Ashcroft.

The Nextmen

The Nextmen are critically acclaimed DJs and producers working with a range of hip-hop artists. Dom Search (aka Dominic Betmead) and Brad Baloo (aka Brad Ellis) often express a funk and reggae influence, and they have worked with many urban artists from the UK, US and Jamaica. The two members also run their own independent record label, Custom Records, a joint venture with Fat City Records. Their name is a reference to the Afro-American term "next man", which is explained on Urban Dictionary and can be heard in use in the song Find a Way (lyrics at OHHLA.com).

Sway

There are at least 5 artists with the name Sway: 1. The aim of this initial hat-trick of records was to express and establish himself as an artist independently without the help of a label.
