De Rosa

De Rosa are a band from Bellshill, Scotland. The band was formed by main songwriter Martin John Henry in the early 2000’s. They are a five piece (brothers James and Neil Woodside on bass and drums respectively, with Chris Connick on guitar and Andrew Bush on piano). They are signed to Glasgow's Chemikal Underground Records, who released 'Mend', their debut album in June 2006. De Rosa's second album 'Prevention' is due out on 2nd March 2009 on the same label.

The Morning After Girls

The Morning After Girls is a pop rock band, in the vein of The Dandy Warhols, The Vines and The Brian Jonestown Massacre, from Australia. The group originally formed in Melbourne around 2003, however in 2004 founding members Sacha Lucashenko (voice/guitars) and Martin B. Sleeman (guitars/voice) relocated to Sydney. The group has released two EPs, the first on Rubber Records in 2003 and the second on Fly Music in early 2005, both of which are self-titled. Mid to late 2005 they have toured with The Brian Jonestown Massacre.

Brandon Richard Flowers (born June 21, 1981) is the vocalist and keyboardist in the American synth rock band The Killers. Flowers was born in Las Vegas, Nevada and later raised in Nephi, Utah. Hella

Hella began in 2001 in Sacramento, California as a two member band consisting of Zach Hill and Spencer Seim writing technically intricate music of a highly spastic nature. They play a blend of math rock and noise rock. On early albums, the band forged their classic sound, playing minimally arranged, abrasive instrumentals that still retain an idiosyncratic sense of melody. In 2005, the band expanded their live band by adding Dan Elkan on vocals, rhythm guitar, and synth and Jonathan Hischke on bass guitar.

The New Pornographers

The New Pornographers are a Canadian indie rock group formed in 1997 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Their sound is influenced by that of such power pop bands as The Cars and Cheap Trick, but they use much more sophisticated keys and chord changes. Although it was widely reported that the New Pornographers got their name from a pamphlet put out by televangelist Jimmy Swaggart condemning rock ‘n’ roll as “the new pornography,” Carl Newman has stated that he came up with the name after watching a Japanese film called The Pornographers.

The Get Up Kids

The Get Up Kids are a Kansas City-based American rock band. They debuted in 1995, and in 1996 released their first single on the band's own label, Huey Proudhon Records. In 1997, Four Minute Mile, their debut full-length, was released and immediately garnered attention. They spent the following two years touring with bands such as The Promise Ring and Jimmy Eat World. In September of 1999, The Get Up Kids released Something to Write Home About. Their first for punk label Vagrant Records, the album marked a major step into bringing post-emo indie rock to the mainstream.
