Hank Green

Hank Green (May 5, 1980) is one of the two founders of the video blog project Brotherhood 2.0 that inspired the community of cool nerds known as Nerdfighters. Hank wrote many of his songs for his Brotherhood 2.0 videos. He and Alan Lastufka co-own DFTBA Records, a label that signs successful YouTube-based musicians. Covergirl

Covergirl were a Emo/Rock 4-piece from the town of Merthyr in South Wales. Ignoring the surrounding current Welsh scene of tuneless screaming and the likes, the band draw their influences from the likes of AFI Queen, Feeder, Placebo,The Movielife and Glassjaw. In 2005 the band released their latest EP entitled No Lycra, No Leotards, No Models, No Men, penned with previous member David Jones (dai dot) who left after recording to be replaced by Al.

Kodaline

Growing up in houses just two minutes away from each other in Swords, a working class town near Dublin airport, Steve and Mark met aged eight, when they were the only boys in the school choir. Skip forward six years and they recruited Vinny, also situated a stones throw away and together set about forming the first of myriad bands. The line-up for Kodaline was recently completed by the addition of bassist Jason Boland. The band's name, incidentally, means absolutely nothing for the moment they wanted something they could take ownership of.

Hi there! Big Success used to be called Men. There is another, more successful band called Men, so the name was changed. FACT : Big Success is made up using all of the letters of Carl, Jem and Mike's middle names. Portugal. The Man

Portugal. The Man is an experimental indie rock four-piece from Wasilla, Alaska, formed in 2004. Portugal. The Man is centered around frontman John Baldwin Gourley's abstract musical approach and corresponding upbringing. He was raised in a sort of technological isolation: his log cabin home in the winter wasteland of the fringes of Wasilla, Alaska was powered by a generator and had no telephone.

Native from France, Boolfight is an alternative rock trio that took advantage of a few years spent in California to mix various influences and create a truly personal sound that is at the same time not scared of being pop. In 2004, the band thus recorded a self-titled EP in San Francisco - some demos had made it to the ears of producers Steve Bradley (No Doubt) and Dave Tweedie of Chocolate O'Brian, who recognized a strong potential.

Hey Rosetta!

Hey Rosetta! hails from the rocky and cold northeastern province of Newfoundland, Canada. In 2005, frontman Tim Baker arrived home from a road trip with a suitcase full of poems and melodies. Hey Rosetta! was formed soon after with the addition of a string section (cellist Romesh Thavanathan and violinist Kinley Dowling) and rhythm section (bassist Josh Ward, drummer Phil Maloney, and guitarist Adam Hogan). Since then, they've blossomed into a powerful group whose explosive live shows have earned them a devoted following.

David Bazan

David Bazan (born January 1976) is an indie rock singer/songwriter from Edmonds, Washington. Bazan (pronounced "buh-zahn") was the lead singer and creative force behind the now-defunct band Pedro the Lion and was the lead singer of HEADPHONES, a band he formed out of his interest in synthesizers. He then released an album under his name, David Bazan. Collaborations
In the early 90's he played drums in the band The Guilty (later named Coolidge) with fellow songwriter Damien Jurado.[1] Bazan had attended Shorewood High School with Jurado.
