Cold Hands (www.coldhands.info) is a duo of brothers Ahmad Saeed of Brooklyn and Abdullah Saeed of Philadelphia, who were raised in Bangkok, Thailand. Their production styles encompass hip hop, drumnbass, breakbeat, and IDM genres among others. Bill Brewster
English DJ, writer and musical bon vivant; best known for his 2002 double-disc compilation "Praxis" and his books "How To DJ (Properly)" and "Last Night A DJ Saved My Life" (with Frank Broughton). As well as running several labels - 5XO-294, Sugar Daddy Records (in New York) and Twisted United Kingdom and Forensic Records (in the UK) - he also ran the DMC New York office for two years. Raiders of the lost Arp
Raiders of the Lost ARP is Mario Pierro's solo project. He is also known as one half of Mat101 and Jollymusic. His professional career started in 1996 when he met Marco Passarani from Nature records and together they decided to start a series of projects: releases, radio-show and organization of parties. At the beginning the first musical project was called MAT101 and it was realized with Francesco de Bellis (aka Francisco) and Emiliano Tortora who lately decided to split from the band.
Distal
Distal is a DJ and producer from Atlanta, Georgia. He's founder of the label Embassy Recordings, producing a wide variety of bass music. His debut vinyl release was on soul jazz records alongside Mala, Coki and Ramadanman, and followed up with a release on SureFireSound. There is more than one artist with the name Marco: (Each entry for a different Marco) - Marco is an American electronic musician from New Jersey active since 2011, his official debut EP (Love Life EP) was released in February 2012. His influences include Daft Punk, Justice, Deadmau5, Tiesto, and Skrillex. His music is influenced by many electronic styles including Electro, House, Trance, Hardstyle, and Rave music. He frequently uses the alias "MarcoMakesMusic" for his online accounts to differentiate himself from other artists with a similar name.
Knee Deep
Sebastian Döring (AKA Superbird) started his career as a remixer and producer under the name of TBA. Together with Daniel Klein (AKA Gucciman), in the late 90's they formed a first successful project: Kiez Kidz, named as a hint of the city of Hamburg where they produced. At the same time, Sebastian Döring and Torsten Freese (AKA Toddie) met in the club life of Hamburg and both together started the Knee Deep partnership.
Soul Keita
Soul is an Ethiopian musician and painter living in Paris. He considers Mulatu Astatke his spiritual father. He began writing songs at twelve years old when his father taught him to play the kissar, an ancient East African lyre. He works solely with a dusty 808 and traditional Ethiopian instruments in order to create melancholic folk house.
Soul grew up in Addis Ababa, but left home for secondary school in Cairo.
