Kevin Saunderson

Kevin Saunderson (born in Brooklyn, New York on May 9, 1964) is an American electronic music producer. At the age of nine he moved to Detroit, Michigan, where he attended Belleville High School and befriended two students, Derrick May and Juan Atkins. Saunderson, with Atkins and May, (often called the "Belleville Three"), is considered to be one of the originators of techno, specifically Detroit techno.

Best known for his worldwide club hit 'Happy People', Static Revenger (aka Dennis White) enjoys international acclaim as a producer/songwriter. As a DJ he has shared the decks with the likes of Fatboy Slim, Basement Jaxx, The Chemical Brothers, Moby, and The Crystal Method.

The Shapeshifters

The Shapeshifters are Simon Marlin and Max Reich. Party people at heart, the pair met when Simon signed Max to the Down Boy record label that he worked for. Musically, Simon found his enthusiasm for house on the dance floor in the late 80’s and early 90’s promoting nights and DJing, while Max got into production via a passion for techno honed whilst throwing illegal raves in his native city of Gothenburg. In 2008 they found a new home at Defected Records, leaving Positiva after 4 years. Since joining Defected they have already made their mark at the world’s leading house music label.

Axwell

Part of what has become known as the 'Swedish House Mafia' along with Sebastian Ingrosso, Eric Prydz and Steve Angello. Axwell, born Axel Hedfors in the Swedish countryside, found that music was in his system from a tender age. Playing the drums at the age of 9, he became frustrated with his fellow classmates who could not keep up; he traded his drums at the age of 13 for a computer so he could play all the instruments himself. There are at least two artists with this name: (I) James Alan Johnston, often credited as Jim Johnston or James A. Johnston (II) james Johnston, Deep House and Deep Disco artist from Glasgow, Scotland.
--- (I) James Johnston is the in-house composer for World Wrestling Entertainment. Johnston's chief role in WWE is providing the soundtrack for WWE programming, in addition to providing musical content for WWE's large output of video games and website content.

Sydney-born DJ and producer Hook N Sling, aka Anthony Maniscalco is recognised as one of the most exciting genre-blending house producers to come on the scene in recent years, a title which has led him to places most only dream about. In 2007, he pumped up the opening party for We Love Space in Ibiza before jetting off to the likes of the US & China. His track 'The Bump' a collaboration with fellow Aussie, Kid Kenobi raked in a coveted ARIA nomination after becoming a worldwide smash and buzz chart number one. It even had the likes of James Zabiela playing it as his encore record.
