Uranium Lake

"The day I discovered Uranium Lake, I kind of felt like I had been let in on a very special secret... They didn't have inflated egos, they didn't have eccentric fashion, and they would never shouts their mouths off in the NME, but this was a band to treasure. They wrote straight-forward old-fashioned jangly indie-pop songs. Their influences were worn firmly on their sleeve (The Smiths and The Go-Betweens being two of note) but this was something that just made them more honest and refreshing, rather than detract from their greatness.

Pikelet is a band from Melbourne, initially just the name for solo artist Evelyn Morris (Baseball, True Radical Miracle), who begun playing music in indie and hardcore bands as a drummer and vocalist.
