Cyril, Gabriel and Guillaume recorded their first demos and played on their first stages, looking to spread their name for more than 4 years. But every dream has its end and Gabriel's tragic loss in 2003 sink the rest of the group brutally into adulthood. Gabriel was only 16 years old .

Sound olarak kuzey coğrafyadan etkilenen grubun tarzı için indie / rock denebilir. Beste çalışmalarına yoğun bir şekilde devam eden The Away Days’in ilk EP’si 2012'nin başlarında çıkması bekleniyor.

Ellen & The Escapades

Being highly influenced by legendary folk acts such as Bob Dylan, Neil Young and Carole King, as well as more contemporary acts such as Ryan Adams, and Ray LaMontagne- to name but a few, Ellen and the Escapades have found a happy medium with their tight, down to earth, organic sound. Having released their debut single Without You on their home-grown record label Branch Out Records in May 2009, the band have received plenty of attention, with plays on BBC Radio 2, Radio Leeds, and BBC Radio 6.

There are three bands with this name: 1) , A Dallas Texas-based Neofolk Martial Industrial band by Erin Powell and Eric Kristoffer (http://www.myspace.com/Awenmusic) 2) A mid-ninties synthetic metal project that made all of its tracks on the ancient and all-powerful Amiga 500 and Amiga 1200, 3), a Newage/Berlin School Ambient band. The name and origin of the producer is not known.
