Running Riots

Running Riots are a 5 piece hailing from the Camden area of London, England. The band’s name reflects the fact they are a fierce live act, and are creating a buzz wherever they go, pulling rowdy audiences to witness this vastly popular unsigned band. Running Riots have been in some form since 2005 but it was the start of 2008 which saw the birth of Running Riots. The bands influences include The Jam, New York Dolls, The Clash, The Pixies, and more recently The Libertines, The Maccabees and Maximo Park.

EMF

EMF were an / band which formed in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, England in 1989 and best known for their 1990 hit "Unbelievable". The band consisted of James Atkin (vocals, guitar), Ian Dench (guitar, keyboards), Derry Brownson (keyboard, samples), Zach Foley (bass) and Mark Decloedt (drums). The band originally disbanded in 1997 and reformed in 2001. Foley died of a drug overdose in January 2002 and the band only played four more shows that year before disbanding once more. The band re-formed for a second reunion in 2007, which ended in May of 2009.

In that time my tastes and styles have changed countless times and eventually I've evolved into the songwriter sitting here today! Throughout my musical journey, one thing has always remained constant - me and my guitar! I write all my stuff in my room on my acoustic guitar and from there the ideas and melodies develop into the songs you hear today!

Leslie Mendelson

Leslie Mendelson is a singer/songwriter from New York with influences ranging from Carole King to Laura Nyro. Influenced by her father, a trumpet player and music teacher, Leslie became passionate about music during her early childhood. She starting singing some of her original music with Mother Freedom, a Long Island funk-rock combo with whom she recorded an album. Then, in the Spring of 2002, Leslie relocated to New York City beginning her songwriting career. There, she became a part of Manhattan’s downtown music scene and participated in the New York Songwriters Circle.

Boyzone

Boyzone are an Irish boy band (pop group). They had major success in the UK and the Republic of Ireland and they also had differing levels of success in parts of Europe and Asia. The band had six #1 UK hit singles when they were first together. By 2007 they had sold over 15 million records. Boyzone was put together in 1993 by Louis Walsh who is also known for managing Johnny Logan and Westlife. Their first album Said and Done was released in 1995 and the following two studio albums in 1996 and 1998. Boyzone initially split in January 2000.

Mark Aaron James

"It's my favorite song about a kleptomaniac girlfriend...Aquaman...a plastic bag, I hope it's yours." That is New York based singer/songwriter Mark Aaron James introducing a few of his quirky takes on universal themes. It was this take that lead Borders News to label his songs, "Some of the best and most introspective pop music we¹ve heard in years."
Born in California and raised in Cocoa Beach, Florida, Mark Aaron James seemed an unlikely candidate for the Nashville songwriting scene.
