Three bands with the name Psychonauts exist : 1) DJ band formed by Paul Mogg and Pablo Clements. 2) Psytrance duo from Greece. 3) Psychobilly band from Switzerland. 1)The Psychonauts are Paul Mogg and Pablo Clements. Two school friends from Yeovil in Somerset. They became friends through a shared love of hip hop and disco. They started a club night known as the Night Of Cookers and mixed up hip hop, house and techno.

Mat created Mons as an outlet for his lifelong love of sound. In particular, the sounds of fuzz boxes, drums, drum machines, vintage synths as well as the cheapest Casios, theremins, vocoders and randomly captured conversations comprise but a few of the tools in his arsenal. There are at least two artists that go by the name Beatnik; The first is the artist signed to the "Box Social" label, which released the e.p "A Master Class In Whatever" which is a progressive concept record in which all 23 minutes flow together, even though they're formed from 5 movements. Beatnik is a progressive/drum & bass/IDM outfit from Bexhill-On-Sea, England. The second artist is the DJ Beatnik who is most commonly labled as "Psy-Trance" who is known for such songs as "kazoodle beach" and "stealing time".
