Alban Gerhardt

Alban Gerhardt (born in 1969) is a German cellist. He has performed as a soloist with many internationally known orchestras, including the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, Cleveland Orchestra, and the London Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2009 he preformed as a soloist at the Proms in the Albert Hall.
Gerhardt was born in Berlin, where his father was a violinist in the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. He took up both the piano and the cello at the age of eight. Gerhardt's first public performance came on February 22, 1987, when he played Haydn's Cello Concerto No.

Edgar Meyer (born November 24, 1960) is a prominent contemporary bassist. His styles include bluegrass, newgrass, jazz, and classical. Meyer has worked as a session musician in Nashville, part of various chamber groups, a composer, and an arranger.
Meyer grew up in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. He learned to play the double bass from his father, the late Edgar Meyer, Sr., who directed the string orchestra program for the local public school system. Meyer later went on to Indiana University to study with Stuart Sankey.

Caroline Dale is a British cello player who has performed music for a number of movies, most notably Truly, Madly, Deeply, Hilary and Jackie, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and the 2005 film adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Caroline has appeared as concert soloist with a number of orchestras including London Philharmonic and the Royal Philharmonic. She has also performed with Robert Plant and Jimmy Page during their 1994 UnLEDed performance on the album No Quarter.

After graduation she moved to San Francisco and began working in computer software while moonlighting as a cellist with dance troupes, theater companies and rock bands.
