No One You Know

http://www.nooneyouknowband.com/ No One You Know is West Virginia’s foremost up-and-coming bluegrass band comprised of five seasoned musicians from all over West Virginia. The band features its own original music and an array of musical heritage that shines in all of their shows. Proof of that fact is in their second place finish at SPBGMA's International Band Competition in February. Each member of the band brings their own style and influences to the stage for a bluegrass show every audience will love.

Tim O'Brien

Tim O'Brien (b. March 16, 1954 in Wheeling, West Virginia) is an American bluegrass, old time and celtic musician. O'Brien plays guitar, fiddle, mandolin, bouzouki and mandocello and is an accomplished vocalist. He moved to Boulder, Colorado in the 1970s and became part of the music scene there. In 1978 he founded the bluegrass group Hot Rize. Hot Rize had its own offshoot band called Red Knuckles & the Trailblazers.

Morgan O'Kane

Charlottesville, North Carolina native Morgan O'Kane's music exists in a world of contrasts. Old, mountain-borne folk music approached with a youthful vivaciousness. A country foundation tempered by busking in New York City's subway system. An agile, lively banjo, complimented by a haunting, deep rasp.
His full length debut, Nine Lives displays a wealth of folk heritage, a new vision of americana spanning from appalachia to bluegrass.

Edgar Meyer

Edgar Meyer (born November 24, 1960) is a prominent contemporary bassist. His styles include bluegrass, newgrass, jazz, and classical. Meyer has worked as a session musician in Nashville, part of various chamber groups, a composer, and an arranger.
Meyer grew up in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. He learned to play the double bass from his father, the late Edgar Meyer, Sr., who directed the string orchestra program for the local public school system. Meyer later went on to Indiana University to study with Stuart Sankey.
