Nat Johnson & The Figureheads

Nat Johnson is the former singer, songwriter and guitarist of Monkey Swallows the Universe. Her debut solo single, 'Dirty Rotten Soul' was released in September 2008. Since then, she has put together a band operating under the name of "The Figureheads". One of The Figureheads (Kevin Gori - Guitar) should be familiar to fans of Monkey Swallows the Universe. Kev and Nat have been playing music together since 2003. The Figureheads are completed by Chris Loftus (bass), who has previously played with Fury of the Headteachers, and Neil Piper (drums), who also drums for Champion Kickboxer.

Katrina

There are several artists called as Katrina:
1. Russian post-punk\emo\metal band from Moscow. They formed in autumn of 2006 after Stas (voice) and Pavel (guitar) left 30 дней февраля. At the moment band recording their first album.

Holly Miranda

Holly Miranda is a Detroit born musician, raised between Michigan and Tennessee. Besides being trained in piano, Holly is a self-taught guitar and trumpet player. In 2001, She recorded "High Above The City", a 20-track solo album available only at shows. In the fall of 2003, Holly met and teamed up with Alex Lipsen, producer and keys player. The project evolved into The Jealous Girlfriends, a four piece band based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. She also recorded and performed as Raven Mayhem.

Plastiscines

Plastiscines are a female rock band from Saint-Cyr-l'École, France. Katty Besnard, Marine Neuilly and Zazie Tavitian met each other in Mansart High School where they bonded over their love of rock 'n' roll music. After they went to see several gigs together, they decided to form a band. In 2004, they met Louise Basilien at a Libertines gig, and she then became the bassist. Et voila, the band was complete : Katty (singer & guitar), Marine (guitar), Louise (bass) and Zazie (drums).

Mieka Pauley

Mieka Pauley began as a solo artist in Boston. Her haunting voice and heartbreaking lyrics gained her more than a few fans, securing her bills with Citizen Cope, KT Tunstall, Natasha Bedingfield, Ben Kweller, Mason Jennings, John Legend, the Avett Brothers and many others. She won the first ever Starbucks Emerging Artist Award and the New York Songwriters Circle Songwriting Contest, and she was named Cosmopolitan Magazine's Fun Fearless Female Rockstar of the Year.

To the Moon Alice

To The Moon Alice toured relentlessly on the east coast for a couple of years, from Maine to Florida, playing festivals, clubs, colleges, restaurants, and the occasional parking lot. They were signed to A&M records and made some memorable appearances on the HORDE tour in the late '90's after meeting Jon Popper of Blues Traveler who played harmonica on a couple of their songs. They released an EP called '3 Feet to Infinity', but had recorded a full length LP that never came out, as A&M merged with Universal and ultimately the band disbanded in late 1999.

Karmin

Karmin are Amy Heidemann (Vocals/Guitar) and Nick Noonan (Vocals/Cajon) from Boston, Massachusetts, USA. The Brokenhearted Songfacts reports that their name derives from the Latin word 'carmen,' meaning "song," with a slightly altered spelling to "hint at karma." The pair first gained recognition from their covers of popular Hip-Hop and Pop songs posted on YouTube. After offers from various record companies, the duo signed with Sony and Epic Records in June 2011.
