The Seekers

The Seekers were a group of Australian folk-influenced popular musicians which was formed in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, in 1962. They were the first Australian popular music group to achieve significant chart and sales success in the United Kingdom and the United States. Their 1960s hits included: "I'll Never Find Another You", "A World of Our Own" , "The Carnival Is Over" (which The Seekers have sung at various closing ceremonies in Australia, including Expo '88 and the Paralympics), "Someday One Day"...

Egypsy

Egypsy is the pseudonym for James Enevoldson, a solo multi-instrumentalist who uses loop pedals to sing, play Guitar, two Keyboards, Bongos and Foot Cabasa simultaneously. Since July 2010, Egypsy has independently released his debut EP 'Entwining Timelines' internationally on iTunes and Spotify, played numerous gigs around West Yorkshire and performed a live session on BBC Radio Leeds Listen to 'Entwining Timelines' for free on Spotify or using the links below. Brian Hyland

Brian was born November 12, 1943, in Brooklyn/Queens, New York City, where his first musical experience ranged from church choir at nine, to clarinet and guitar, to his first local harmony group, the Delfis. In 1959, they cut a demo record and made the rounds of New York City record labels. Finally, with much persistence, after many closed doors, Brian was signed as a solo artist to a management contract, where he cut demos for band leader Sammy Kaye's publishing company. Kapp Records heard a demo and signed Brian at age 16.

Foster & Allen

Foster and Allen are a musical duo from Ireland consisting of Mick Foster and Tony Allen. Foster & Allen began back in the seventies when Mick and Tony were playing in Country Music bands around Ireland. In 1975 they formed a small group and went over to the UK to work the Irish music venues on a short tour. Mick & Tony had at this stage the idea of working together as a duo, playing ‘easy listening’ music with a touch of traditional Irish instrumentals. When their UK tour finished they decided to let the band return to Ireland whilst they stayed behind to try and break into the public eye.

Micro-orchestral music played with minimalist economy. Established during Wimbledon 05, the duo have played shows with Stars Of The Lid, Koen Holtkamp, Grouper, Greg Haines and more. Glass Pear

Back to the UK from a stint in the US, where his songs have been featured in hit TV shows Grey's Anatomy, Bones, 90210, Vampire Diaries and One Tree Hill, Glass Pear is the work of platinum-selling songwriter Yestyn Griffiths. The Welsh-born singer is the younger brother of recording artist Jem. After co-writing songs for her debut Finally Woken and follow-up Down To Earth, Yestyn sent a 4 track demo to tastemaker DJ Nic Harcourt of Los Angeles’ KCRW.
