Hammers

Hammers are a crust influenced hardcore band from Manchester, UK. Featuring former members of Dreams Are Free Motherfucker, Anxiety Attack and The Secret. So far, they've put out a self titled 7", which was self-released, and a cassette entitled "Year One" on Hit Time Records. They have a split 7" and 12" coming in spring 2009.

Filth

Formed in the San Francisco East Bay in 1989, from the ashes of Isocracy, The Vagrants, and Crimpshrine. Filth was a crustcore band that would help define the later "East Bay Hardcore" style. The band combined the more upbeat, sometimes poppy guitar styles of Isocracy's Lenny Rokk with harsh screamed vocals, courtesy of Crimpshrine roadie, Jake Sayles. The rhythm section was composed of an East Bay punk known as Mike-o the Psycho, on bass, Jim Gray, a Canadian who temporarily moved to SoCal, on guitar, the more well-known Dave (E.

GATTACA is a DIY epic crust band from Czech republic. They've been around since 2009. Members play/ed in Lakmé, xNIDALx, Remek, Marnost, Dakhma, osawatomie or Abstinentia. Their lyrics are heavily inspired by politics, human and animal rights etc. The band often promotes veganism. Releases:

The Restarts

The Restarts first crawled out of the North London Squat scene nearly a decade ago. Serial dole scroungers the lot of them, they named their band after the dreaded 'back to work' interviews and set about touting their stroppy four-chord punk to spiky-haired audiences around the world. Yelling out barbed diatribes against the state over chunky metal guitars, they've slowly but surely clawed their way to the top of the underground pile. Staying true to their punk ideals and more DIY than Homebase.

Born/Dead formed in the late 2000 in Oakland, California. They have released a number of records on D.I.Y.labels such as No Options Records, Prank Records, and Yellowdog Records in Germany. They have toured the U.S. and Europe extensively in their five years of existence, and have played with bands like The Subhumans, The Restarts, and The Capitalist Casualties.

1) Bacchus are a DIY experimental crust outfit from Galway, Ireland. They formed in late 2007 & played their first gig in June of 2008. They blend epic sweedish style crust with crushing slow/heavy parts & spacey reverb/delay soundscapes. To date they have released a 3 track ep titled "attica" & a split 7 inch with UK band Burning the Prospect. Appalachian Terror Unit

Appalachian Terror Unit is a Huntington, West Virginia anarchist crust punk band. The often mispronounced "Appalachian" in the band name is pronounced "apple-AT-chin" as guitarist/vocalist Chris clarified in a mid-'06 Profane Existence interview featured in PE #52/53. Members are: Sarah (vocals), Chris (guitar, vocals), Phil (drums), and Matt (bass). ATU cites influences from Detente, Amebix, Anti-Cimex, old Sepultura, Final Warning, Misery, and Bastard. However many have compared them to Nausea, so much so that according to Chris they have been nicknamed "Extinction Side 3" by some. ATU released a 7" titled 'Armageddon Won't Be Brought By Gods' in early 2007 on Profane Existence. They are expected to release a full-length LP on PE in the near future.

Bad Taste

There are at least 4 bands that go by the name Bad Taste Bad Taste is a band formed in Bar, Montenegro by Nemanja Bečo Bečanović. Their style varies from indie pop/rock and "Boston-influenced" alternative rock to post-rock/experimental/noise music mainly created in Nemanja's room. There are at least eight artists using this name: 1. A thrash metal band from Switzerland formed in 1985. 2. Poltergeist from Poland, Wroclaw city (crust punk/grind core) 3. Solo trance project from Union Jack's Simon Berry produced the track "Vicious Circles": Released 1996 on Manifesto Records. 4. Poltergeist from Brasov, Romania(rock, alternative rock, pop-rock). They released an album containing 13 covers and 4 own-made tracks 5. A melodic death metal band from Finland.
