Stricken City
FREE DOWNLOADS AVAILABLE AT WWW.STRICKENCITY.COM Stricken City play pop songs lingering on lovers and tramps jumping between places and pictures... When Iain Pettifer (guitars) first met Rebekah Raa (vocals/keys), they were wearing exactly the same clothes. “How could they not form a band then?”, you’d think, only the pair were actually in high school, in a math class. Nonetheless, as painstaking algebra lessons repeated themselves every week...

sun gone mad
Sun Gone Mad is the only original Neanderthal three-piece band which managed to reincarnate enough times to enlighten this sad and treacherous 21st century. Two of them came down from the heart of the Swiss Alps - the canton with the poetic name Grisons (Grey). The other one is from Yorkshire, another lyrical corner of our planet.
They started jamming on acoustic guitars and homemade percussions in the spring of 2007 and the songs they made felt like sitting by the fire with something precious in your hand.

Tawiah
If you’ve seen Tawiah, you’ll know it. You might think you know her because you recognise the smile as wide as the equator, or the incredible off kilter dress sense, or you may remember seeing a show stopping performance on stage with Mark Ronson, as she’s the only live female vocalist at his gigs. But none of these things is the real reason you know her. You’ll know her because of the voice, or more to the point - her voice.
Squirrel Skin Slippers
The Squirrel Skin Slippers are a rough n tumble Mr & Mrs originating from the bone-rattling mythical antipodes of New Zealand. Their metamorphosis into a gut punchin garage music beast started back in ‘06 when they began smashing pot lids together and howling like a drunk mule. Like their marriage, the Squirrel Skin Slippers music is as straight talkin as it gets. Their sound is like a primal, foot stomping, eye squinting, amped up yet stripped down blend of illegal liquor...
