Jaimeson

Jaimeson, real name Jamie Williams, is a drum and bass and garage producer and MC best known for a string of hits in 2003 and 2004. Jaimeson emerged in the underground music scene, breaking through in January 2003 with the release of “True”, a dance track featuring vocalist Angel Blu and a rap by Jaimeson, which peaked at #4 in the UK Singles Chart. This was then followed up by “Complete” - which also peaked at #4 in August 2003 - and “Take Control” in February 2004, which peaked at #16. Jaimeson also ran his own record label, in addition to dealing with his own promotion.

Ozonna

The man getting his regular short back and sides smiles with intrigue at the figure in the doorway. This Camden hairdresser isn’t used to visits from unfamiliar faces. The bespectacled guest, dressed in a faded denim jacket and rolled shorts, begins to strum a Ukulele, giving his adopted crowd a rendition of his latest song, “I love me”. Even the stubborn buzz of the last few clippers has been silenced within moments. Two minutes later he leaves, followed by looks of affection and bemusement.

Lunar Rising

Lunar Rising was created in the autumn of 2007 when guitarist Jay Harris got in touch with singer Dominique Allan to write atmospheric and haunting songs that captured the more comtemplative side of life. Since then the band has grown in both numbers and sound, expanding on their acoustic origins to incorporate drums, bass, piano, violin and backing vocals. Throughout the years Lunar Rising have continued to combine the finer elements of folk and rock to produce a unique musical style.

Rumour Cubes

Rumour Cubes are a group of 20-something Londoners with a love for all things musical. Taking influences from Explosions In The Sky, Godspeed You! Black Emperor and Mogwai, among others, the group layer intricate melodies over technical drum beats and delayed guitars. Working with film makers, poets and DJs and using a joystick to control granulated found sounds, Rumour cubes focus as much on the experience as the music itself. An evening in their company will certainly be different.

Chas 'n' Dave

Chas & Dave are Cockney pop rock music artists, often billed as Chas 'n' Dave or erroneously as Chaz 'n' Dave. Their full names are Chas Hodges (piano, vocals, banjo, guitars) and Dave Peacock (bass guitar, vocals, banjo, guitars), with Mick Burt on drums. They were regulars on British TV from 1975 onwards and had hits like "Gertcha", their first, as well as "Rabbit" and "The Sideboard Song". Their music was featured in a TV beer advertising campaign which also helped to establish them in the United Kingdom.

Light Of The World

Fairly large Jazz Funk band with brass section from North London (UK) who had a big live following and some moderate chart success in the late 70's and early 80's. Most well known for their hits "London Town" and the 10 minute plus track, "Time". Band members Kenny Wellington, David Baptiste and Neville McKrieth also recorded as Beggar & Co throwing their two Top Forty chart hits into the LOTW repertoire. Paul Williams and Jean Paul Maunick also formed the successful splinter group Incognito during their time with Light Of The World.

Charlie Chaplin

There are two artists known as Charlie Chaplin. 1) Charlie Chaplin was a silent film actor, director and comedian, best known for his recurring character "the little tramp". Besides performing and directing, he also composed music to be played alongside his movies. 2) Charlie Chaplin (born Richard Bennett is a Jamaican dancehall and ragga deejay and singer. It was common for Jamaican deejays of the era to name themselves after film stars or characters.
