The Deviants

The Deviants (formerly the Social Deviants) were a musical group in the United Kingdom. Out of the Ladbroke Grove UK Underground Community, a number of bands would emerge. Perhaps the most anarchistic band of the Underground was the Deviants founded and fronted by singer/writer Mick Farren, the Social Deviants, later just the Deviants, made three bizarre albums in two years. Mick Farren states that The Deviants were a community band which "did things every now and then - it was a total assault thing with a great deal of inter-relation and interdependence".

Find a Fiend

Find a Fiend was born as Eduardo Carrasco’s solo project. The necessity to shape various songs of his authorship in an album made him consider his ex partner in the dissolved band Sinestesia, Pepe Lastarria, as the producer. The long time friendship and his independent experience in the same position (Rama, Drogatones, Humana, Aeroplano, among others) were key factors in the choosing of the sound sculptor.

The Shoestrung

THE SHOESTRUNG is a young band from Brighton based in London now. The members Dave Tregenza ( bass guitar, cello), Rob Miles (drums), Al Ritchie (guitar, vocals) and Bryn Hoffman (vocals, guitar, harmonica, Hammond). In the style of the day, the word 'Shoestrung' was used to describe a number of different activities, bodily functions and fetishes. Due to the declaring of all of these definitions illegal, unlawful, immoral and downright sick, the word 'Shoestrung' is in the rare position of being in existence without any definition – a word that means many things.
