Something
Something is a musical project. It uses organs and guitars and horns and violins and drums and xylophones and an old valve radio and pianos and he sings a lot also.

Though California X's cartwheeling, low-end-friendly noise has drawn quick comparisons to Dinosaur Jr. (also, it should be repeated, of Amherst, Mass.), lead vocalist Lemmy Gurtowsky shares little in common with J Mascis. Not a whiner or a wailer, the Happy Valley trio's frontman is, like his band's self-titled debut full-length, direct in a way that recalls Bob Mould and Steve Brooks of Torche instead.
Printed Circuit is a pseudonym of Claire Broadley, a musician from Leeds, UK. She began making music as a solo artist in June 1999, aged 19. During the next five years, she released records on labels like Tigerbeat6, Elefant, 555 and her own label, Catmobile. Her influences are continually taken from diverse sources, most obviously from the Acorn Electron computer games of her youth, but the only real constant is her own ability to tessellate simple melodies into far more complex compositions. A forthcoming album can be pre-ordered at PledgeMusic.com.
It all started back in 1998 when Dave, Stuart, Brian and Rams met up in a shady rehearsal studio in an effort to get all the surplus energy and anger out of our collective system. After four practices the chance came to play a couple of shows with Vanilla Pod and being the idiots that we are, we drunkenly agreed. I guess that was kinda when we were born for real - More shows followed throughout the UK and Ireland with the like of Diesel Boy, UK Subs, Shelter, Lost Prophets, Real McKenzies, 999, Turtlehead, Fireapple Red, The Dangerfields, No Comply, Even In Blackouts etc.

Funky bass and quacking keyboards from Leeds, UK make astounding entertainment for ages nought to naughty. Ten legs from Pifco, Polaris, Molliger and Cissy roar and meow through chunky neon party tunes about serial killers as they slave over keyboards, bass, drums and massive bleating Stylophones. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OSEjSgsX8L8
