The Mighty Boosh

The Mighty Boosh is a British cult comedy duo, starting off as a live show over 8 years ago now, progressing to a radio show & now a successful TV series. The radio series is a 6 part series, which won them the Douglas Adams Award for innovative comedy writing, it has never been awarded again!

Joby Talbot

Joby Talbot is a British Composer. He was born in Wimbledon, London, August 25 of 1971, Talbot initially studied composition at Royal Holloway and Bedford New College under Robert Saxton. In 1993 Talbot first met Neil Hannon and began arranging and performing with his group The Divine Comedy. One of their tracks, "In Pursuit of Happiness", was used as the theme music for BBC TV's Tomorrow's World.

Valleys

Montreal-based trio Valleys is comprised of Marc St Louis, Matilda Perks, and Pascal Oliver. In 2006 they self-released their debut album, Night War, and bought a 1986 Volvo station wagon to live and tour in. Their official debut album, "Sometimes Water Kills People", was released on Semprini Records in September 2009. A three-song EP called "Stoner" was released digitally in November 2010 on Semprini.

The Silent League

The Brooklyn-based orchestral pop band THE SILENT LEAGUE originated as the solo identity of singer Justin Russo in the late nineties. While a keyboardist with Mercury Rev in support of the critically acclaimed albums "Deserter's Songs" (V2) and "All Is Dream" (V2), Russo secretly stole each available moment in a busy tour schedule to write and record his own fragile and epic LP, "The Orchestra, Sadly, Has Refused".

Junior Murvin

Junior Murvin (born Murvin Smith Jr. in Port Antonio, circa 1949) is a Jamaican reggae artist. He is best known for the classic single "Police and Thieves", produced by Lee "Scratch" Perry in 1976. Murvin's soaring voice and the infectious rhythm made "Police and Thieves" into an international hit during the summer of 1976. The song was so influential that it was recorded by the punk rock pioneers The Clash on their debut album the following year.

Donna Summer

Donna Summer (born 31 December 1948, died 17 May 2012) was one of seven children raised by devout Christian parents. She sang in church, and in her teens joined a funk group called The Crow, so named because Donna was the only black member of the group. At eighteen, Gaines left home and school to audition for a role in the cast of the Broadway musical, Hair (1968). Unsuccessful in getting the part in the Broadway show (Melba Moore got the role)...
