Formed in 1989 from the ashes of The Untouchables, this London three piece sought a return to the powerful guitar based rock'n'roll that inspired them to first pick up their instruments in the late seventies. James Walsh (born 9 June 1980, Chorley, Lancashire, England) is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, pianist and frontman of the band, Starsailor.
When Walsh was aged 12 he started to play the piano and by the time he was 14 he wrote his own songs; he enjoyed listening to groups like The Charlatans, Oasis and Jeff Buckley.
A shy and lonely personality, he looked for artists that had, or have, an influence on the musicians of his generation

Beauty School Dropout were a pop punk band from Glasgow formed in 1995. During their 6 years together the band toured the UK several times, appeared on various compilations and released a full length album entitled "Teasing the Fat Kids". Before they Split in 2001, 5 new songs were recorded which were to remain shelved for the next 2 years before being released as part of the Boss Tuneage Instant Singles vol 2 CD. Fast forward to the end of 2009 and a brief re-union involving 2.5 rehearsals and a single day in the Studio resulted in 3 new songs being recorded.
