tenek is the latest project from Geoff Pinckney (The Nine/Mesh) and Pete Steer. The sound features shades of classic electronica fused with a contemporary twist. tenek released their eponymous debut ep cd in September 2007 which was a limited edition of 200 and has now sold out although it is available as a download via the Toffeetones shop. The debut album 'Stateless' which was released through the Toffeetones label on the 20th March 2009 has been receiving excellent reviews.

Ashley Walters

Asher D (born 1983), real name Ashley Walters) is a British rapper and actor, who is known for his work within the group So Solid Crew. After the group split up, he went on to focus on other projects. He shares a name with another British rapper who released records on the Music of Life label in the late 1980s and early 1990s, often alongside Daddy Freddy. Asher D also acts, appearing in films such as Bullet Boy where he played the title role, and Get Rich or Die Tryin' (2005 film) starring 50 Cent.

Tippa Irie

Anthony Henry - a.k.a. "Tippa Irie" - emerged from England's Saxon Sound International - the star-studded travelling sound system that has been at the forefront of the U.K. reggae dancehall scene for the past 25 years and helped launch the careers of artists such as Maxi Priest, Papa Levi and Smiley Culture. Tippa Irie was part of the new generation of British MC's who developed the 'Fast Talking' style chat which today can be heard in modern day rappers like Busta Rhymes.

The Last Shadow Puppets

The Last Shadow Puppets is a band that consists of Alex Turner of Sheffield band Arctic Monkeys and Miles Kane of The Rascals. They released their debut album, The Age of the Understatement, on the 21st April 2008 in the U.K., and 6th May in the U.S. The album also features James Ford (producer and half of the duo Simian Mobile Disco) and string arrangements from Owen Pallett a.k.a Final Fantasy. The album went straight to number one in the U.K. Albums Chart.

The Deadbeats

There are, at least, four bands known as The Deadbeats: 1) An early punk band 2) A UK group. 3) A Swedish rock group. 4) A funky, jazzy hip-hop band currently residing in Honolulu Hawaii. 1) An early LA art punk band on the legendary Dangerhouse Records label. In 1978 they released their first and only EP titled Kill The Hippies. Members: Scott Guerin (vocals), Geza X (of Geza X and the Mommymen - guitar), Pat Delaney (of BPeople & The Romans - sax), Pasquale Amadeo (bass) & Shaun Guerin (drums).

Albert Ketèlbey

Albert William Ketèlbey (9 August 1875 – 26 November 1959) was an English composer, conductor and pianist. Biography Ketèlbey was born in Alma Street in the Lozells area of Birmingham, England, the son of George Ketelbey (written with no accent), and Sarah Aston. Dave is a young Singer/Songwriter from the Milton Keynes area. He has been writing his own music since 2009 and has been playing the guitar for long before that. Dave's influences include a variety of artists from different genres, but his inspiration comes from the folky side of things. Dave's music is primarily acoustic but he has been branching out to include other timbres to live out his musical vision.
