Drum n Bass

Adapt

Christian Del Moral was born January 1, 1986 in Ceuta, Spain. At the tender age of nine he discovered techno and felt the urge to create electronic music. He grew up in the age of the cassettes and CDs and began experimenting with samples and remix session recorded with an analogue mixer, cd players and a tape recording device at 14 that he bought with his father for both to experiment with. He was part of many different bands, playing guitar and using various samples and normally spent his whole summers shut in a garage producing the music that him and his bandmates were creating.

The Qemists

When you mix elements together it’s all about the Qemistry. Brighton trio The Qemists mix up genres and guest vocalists until you don’t know what’s hit you. Titanium-tipped drum’n’bass beats anchor many tracks, while layers of distorted rock guitars assault the senses. Throw in hip hop, dancehall, metal and soul, and vocalists like Faith No More’s Mike Patton, Wiley, Alabama 3’s Zoe Devlin Love, and Jenna G and you’ve got “Join The Q”, a debut album that covers more ground than most acts manage in a career.

Logistics

A couple of years ago you could have been forgiven for thinking that the primary meaning of Logistics had something to do with the careful organization of a complicated activity so that it happens in a successful and effective way. How wrong that would have been... and yet how right. Younger brother to Dan Gresham (aka Nu:Tone), Matt Gresham hails from Cambridge and is one of the youngest and fastest rising stars within the scene.
