Phace & Misanthrop

Phace is the alias used by Florian Harres, a drum and bass producer and label owner from Germany. With long time friend Michael Braeuninger, more widely known as Misanthrop, they both teamed up to create the record label, Neosignal, in 2008. This establishment was followed by the release of a worldly acclaimed album, From Deep Space, in 2010, accompanied with several singles. Phace & Misanthop's music trends within the neurofunk sub-genre of drum and bass, and are well known for their atmospheric and powerful tracks.

Sub Focus

Nick Douwma a.k.a. Sub Focus came to the DnB scene from Liverpool, UK in 2004, and has already broken through with a number of popular tracks released in his first year including "Acid Test", and "X-Ray". Entirely self taught, he was noticed at first by 'Andy C', and in a matter of months, he went from being one of many wannabe producers to becoming a permanent fixture of the award winning 'Ram Records' family.

"Originally born and raised in the south-western parts of Sweden, the interest and creation of music effected me at the age of 15 when a friend introduced me to Propellerheads Reason.
I started to create beats with deep rock influence from fathers vinyl collection, getting inspiration from artist such as Blue Oyster Cult, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Rainbow, Whitesnake and so on.

Trace

There are at least 3 bands / artists called Trace. One were a 1970s progressive rock band from Holland, another a pop group from Germany. The third is a drum and bass producer / DJ 1) Rick van der Linden's father was a pianist, so it was not a surprise that young Rick took piano-lessons. Later he started to learn playing the organ and finally he went to the Haarlem Conservatory. He played in many bands and nightclubs and was impressed by Brian AUGER and Keith EMERSON.

A Guy Called Gerald

Where do you start with A Guy Called Gerald? A hidden gem, the gateway between Chicago house / Detroit Techno and the UK dance music explosion in the late 80s. He is one of a few special producers who entered dance music in the jacking zone. He is the first UK acid house producer and probably the first producer to have two instrumental dance tracks in the UK charts at the same. He formed 808 State with a drum machine, a 303, 2 Roland SH101s and 2 other humans.

02. Dark ambient project 01. Triage is an American drum and bass outfit from Portland, OR formed in 2006.

02. Triage is a collaborative project between Chet W. Scott of Ruhr Hunter and Scott E. Candey of Gruntsplatter that first began recording in the middle of 1997. The two were sharing an aprartment at the time that was ultimately destroyed by fire through no fault of their own. During that time about 40 minutes of material was recorded that little was done with.

Paul B

Paul B (Pavel Burakov) is a Russian d'n'b DJ who started his career in 1997. With two other producers, he made The Sounds Of Infinity. In summer 2001 he started cooperation with Alex Gloyshin (STA). Their best compositions are: „The Lick”, „Step 2 Zero”, „Gush”, „Secrets Inside”... Monthly at his page we can find new d'n'b sets called "Nuborn mixes'. He's playing all along Europe.

Darren "Decoder" Beale is 1 third of electro/pop/alternative Group Kosheen, alongside a vocalist and fellow DJ Markee "Substance" Morrisson.
Both DJ's have shared great success both with Kosheen and as solo DJ's/Artists.
