Desaparecidos
Desaparecidos was a short-lived American quintet formed in 2001 in Omaha, Nebraska, fronted by Conor Oberst (vocals, guitar) and featuring Denver Dalley, now of Statistics (guitar), Landon Hedges, now of Little Brazil (bass), Ian McElroy (keyboards), and Matt Baum (drums). This project however was restarted in 2010. Oberst may be better known for his confessional songwriting and storytelling as the lead singer of the popular indie folk band Bright Eyes, but Desaparecidos has a very different flavor.

Lewis Black
Lewis Niles Black (born August 30, 1948) is an American stand-up comedian, author, and playwright. He is best known for his regular appearances on Comedy Central's The Daily Show delivering his "Back in Black" commentary segment, in which he ridicules (often simulating a nervous breakdown or rant) recent trends and cultural phenomena. He recently purchased a house in Chapel Hill, NC and has stated that he intends to help found a comedy festival for collegiate comedians.

The Consultants
Formed in Brooklyn in 2003, The Consultants were Marisha Chinsky, Brett Whitmoyer, and Mike Hollitscher. Their music is beautifully layered and cinematic, while the lyrics are a neurotic cocktail of hope and discontent. Chinsky sings and writes most of the words, and they are often windows into a compelling world where self-confidence and self-doubt are perpetually vying for the upper hand. Harry Shearer
Harry Shearer began his career as a child actor in 1950s movies ("The Robe") and television ("The Jack Benny Program"). Shearer also played the precursor to the Eddie Haskell character in the pilot episode of the TV series "Leave It to Beaver." Shearer was later a member of Los Angeles radio comedy group "The Credibility Gap," 1968–1974, and a writer for such television shows as "Fernwood 2-Night" and "Laverne and Shirley.

Eddie Izzard
Edward John Izzard (born February 7, 1962) is a British stand-up comedian and actor. He has a very individual style of rambling, surreal monologue. He has turned his attention to acting as well as maintaining his demanding touring schedule.
Early life and career
Izzard was born in Aden, Yemen, as the youngest son of John and Ella Izzard. In 1963, shortly before Britain abandoned the capital of Aden, the Izzards moved to Northern Ireland.

Noel Fielding
Noel Fielding (born 21 May 1973 in London, England) is an English artist, comedian and actor. He is known for his role as Vince Noir in The Mighty Boosh, which he also co-writes with fellow actor Julian Barratt. He is the co-originator of crimping. Noel Fielding performed regularly as a stand-up comedian during the late 1990s, and appeared repeatedly on the BBC television stand-up showcase Gas. His highly animated stand-up routine included surreal stories, characters, and songs, much like his later work in The Mighty Boosh.
