Belgian Hardcore

There are at least 5 bands with the name Point of View: 1. Point of View(POV) is a German synthpop band formed in the mid 90's. 2. Point of View is also a progressive rock/metal band residing in Poland with three releases to their credit. 3. The secret is out of the bag, Rise And Fall, have become one of the most dominant and respected metallic hardcore bands out there today. The band has spent over a year touring in support of their "Into Oblivion" release, sharing stages with Converge, Comeback Kid, Blacklisted, Iron Age, and more. The rest of 2007 sees the band's momentum increasing, with notable tours and releases planned. Intensely brutal hardcore out of Belgium, in the vein of bands like Integrity, Cursed, and Tragedy.

It all started in summer 2003 with Bert and Laurens on vocals, Roel on bass, Joey on guitar, and Kris on drums. Some songs got written but things didn’t move on. After a while, Joey left the band because he didn’t feel happy with the musical directions PTF was heading to. After some looking around, Derwin was the best man to fill the empty spot. For some time, things went right, writing some more songs. When Laurens decided to quit the band, they just move on with the 4 remaining members. This line-up did his first show in summer 2004.
