Nosowska

Nosowska is an abbreviation of Katarzyna Nosowska (aka Kasia Nosowska), best known as the lead singer of Hey (Polish rock band, she co-founded in 1992). Besides her career with the band, she has released five solo albums, to date. Her solo releases are substantially different in style from that of Hey's. Anthony Joseph & The Spasm Band

Anthony Joseph & The Spasm Band is a band led by Trinidadian poet, novelist and lecturer Anthony Joseph. The band was formed in London in 2005 as an offshoot of his then novel-in-progress The African Origins of UFOs. The band's musical influences include Free Jazz, Afro-Caribbean funk, spoken word, soca, rapso, Calypso, Rock and the hypnotic Spiritual Baptist rhythms that were prominent in Joseph's childhood in Trinidad.

Matt Dalby

Matt Dalby is a poet and writer based in Manchester, UK since 2002. In 2008 he started to turn away from the more usual spoken-word style of poetry performance in favour of sound poetry. His technique normally involves looping his voice, either to build up many layers of sound and a lot of volume, or to establish a rhythm over which other vocal sounds can happen. In January 2009 Matt Dalby announced his intention to release one CD-R of sound poetry every month for the whole year.

John Cooper Clarke (born January 25, 1949) is a performance poet from Salford, Greater Manchester , England, affectionately known as the Bard of Salford. He is often referred to as a punk poet, having initially achieved recognition in the late 1970s amidst the flourishing punk movement. His recorded output has mainly centred around musical backing The Invisible Girls, featuring Martin Hannett, Pete Shelley, Bill Nelson and Steve Hopkins. The song "Evidently Chickentown" became known to a wide audience through its use in the final season of the TV show The Sopranos

Kate Westbrook

Kate Westbrook's musical career began in the mid '70's when she joined the Mike Westbrook Brass Band. She has toured widely and has recorded more than 20 albums. Kate's vocal range embraces Contemporary Music, Opera, Music Hall, as well as Jazz and Popular Song. She sang the role of Anna in The Seven Deadly Sins by Brecht and Weill with the London Symphony Orchestra, arias by Rossini with the Mike Westbrook Orchestra in Big Band Rossini at the Proms, and songs by the Beatles with the Westbrook Band in Off Abbey Road.

The Orch. are Michael Conroy (lyrics and vocals), Phil Hayes (guitars, visuals and production) and Damian Ashcroft (keyboards, synths and production).
