Inborn

Combining innovative songwriting with the experimentations of progressive music and the dynamics of modern hardcore structures, Inborn have forged their own path far from the musical trends of their time. Largely inspired by modern architecture and the artistic landscapes of the bizarre, the band always displayed a will to put their ambitions into concepts and design-oriented patterns.
During a short period of introspection following the release of their first record ‘The Headtrance Session’ in 2005...

The Wind Whistles

Tom and Liza are the Wind Whistles and they live together in the suburbs of Vancouver, Canada. As an indie folk duo they both sing and both play acoustic instruments (guitar, bass). Sometimes they play alone and sometimes they bring friends, more times not. They think they sound like a cross of Lemonheads and Violent Femmes while people tell them they sound like a cross of the Decemberists and the Moldy Peaches.

Whiteroom

There are two artists with the name Whiteroom. The first is collaboration of Adam White & Andy Moor. The second hails from Montreal Canada as an answer to this generations Radiohead: Bio: Sunlight is made up of a full spectrum of colors. Unfiltererd White Light contains every image you have seen and will ever see.

Slim

There are at least three artists called Slim: 1. Being in the music world for over a decade now, there is no other voice that quite compares to that of Marvin Scandrick III PKA “Slim”. Music has always been apart of his life. Although his first passion was completely different, the path he chose was definitely the right one. “Airplanes and being a pilot is what I was interested in.” says, Slim, “I was ALWAYS great in school, straight A’s, advanced placement, you know, a real book worm, singing was just a part of our life.

Rescue Rangers

Fall 2005, a group of stoner from the south of France (who just giggle at the back of the room as I frames?) we unclog savagely eardrums blow slats good rockin, bass thumping at will and a heat wave that was feeling damn good to hear. Name: Rescue Rangers, the subject of crime: Masters of the middle finger, an EP 4 tracks urgent and angry, which feels like big fat rock run along the Grand Canyon, under a blazing sun (in the rain Nord-Pas de Calais, the pleasure was not the same ... obviously).

Sam Beer

Sam Beer is the latest in a long line of English singer songwriters to take their inspiration from American delta blues but infuse it with a distinctively British sensibility. His finger-picking guitar style, everyday observational lyrics and unusual vocal style put him strongly in the traditional of off-beat English blues and folk singers such as Kevin Coyne and Richard Thompson. Beer has self-released a solo e.p. (Carrier Pigeon) and, in October 2006, his debut album Evening Songs, on which he is joined by drums, bass and a string section.

Louis Lingg and the Bombs

Louis Lingg and the Bombs are goddamn punk-rock-garage-pop-anarcho saviours of the 2 and half minute pop song. They come from Paris where they regularly blow up little bars with explosions of snot and beer fuelled punk rock energy! The group is named after Louis Lingg, the famous Chicago anarchist who committed suicide on death row in 1887. Some of their songs are ultra-political anarchist punk rock and some of their songs are like children’s nursery rhymes. ALL of their song’s are full of interesting pop hooks and melodies and they are sung with energy and commitment.
