Bersuit Vergarabat

Bersuit Vergarabat, formed in 1989 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is one of the most important Argentine rock bands of the 1990s/2000s. After 2 albums of underground transgressive rock, the band started mixing it with Latin American rhythms such a cumbia, chacarera, candombe and cuartetazo. The lyrics, though, remained acid and critical of political and social problems. MOLE es una banda de rock argentino formado en el 2007 en Capital Federal, Buenos Aires. Este grupo se caracteriza por llevar como líder al Baterista de Soda Stereo, Charly Alberti. Luego de casi 8 años de aquél inolvidable “Último Concierto” de Soda Stereo, cuando a mediados de 2005, Charly Alberti retoma su vocación musical. Tras varios meses de trabajar solo, decide aunar fuerzas con Andrés, su hermano menor con quien tenían la deuda pendiente de alguna vez hacer algo juntos.

1) Militia is a Belgian industrial percussion band. It was founded in 1989 by the multi-instrumentalist Frank Gorissen and wind instrument player Jo Billen and now 6 musicians are involved. The band is known for its use of self made percussion and wind instruments and the scrap material they transform into musical instruments. The band's music is often inspired by the anarchic and atheist social views and their concirn about our natural environment, themes that can be found in most of their lyrics and statements.

Martha Argerich (born June 5, 1941) is a concert pianist from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Her aversion to the press and publicity has resulted in her remaining out of the limelight for most of her career. She has given relatively few interviews. As a result, she may not be as well known as other pianists of similar caliber. Despite this, she is widely recognized as one of the greatest piano virtuosos of our time.

Bubu was an Argentinean progressive band that only existed during some years in the late seventies and that only released one album called Anabelas. Although recorded in 1978, the album was not released until 1983 due to censorship from the dictatorship government at that time.
Bubu´s music is very intricate and original making their style hard to categorize. While Avant garde might be the best description, it still would not be enough, as this band also takes elements from Jazz, Symphonic prog and even some Zeuhl.

Venice

There are three bands called Venice: 1. Venice was started in 1977 by cousins Michael and Kipp Lennon. Michael's brother Mark joined the band in 1978, followed by Kipp's brother Pat in 1980. Their music has been described as the "Southern California sound of the 1970s" in the vein of the Eagles and Crosby, Stills and Nash.
