Ava Inferi

Lobo

Lobo (born Roland Kent Lavoie, July 31, 1943), is an American who was successful in the early 1970s, scoring several Top 10 hits, including "Me and You and a Dog Named Boo," "I'd Love You to Want Me" and "Don't Expect Me To Be Your Friend." Lobo's songs have been characterized by their sweet melodies, sumptuous instrumentation and soulful lyrics. This has made him well known outside the Western world, including Africa, India and Southeast Asia.

Live, Lobster is mainly composed by the drum set (Ricardo Martins), the e-guitar (Guilherme Canhão) and anything else that may join the party in this electric sonic discharge headed to your ears with the goal of transforming you to a John Travolta on the dancefloor. The first full-length album is called "Sexually Transmitted Electricity" and is out on Bor-Land/Rock It.

Duarte Lobo

Duarte Lobo (1565? in Alcáçovas?-September 24, 1646 in Lisbon) was a Portuguese composer of sacred music. He was among the most prominent figures of the "golden age" of Portuguese polyphony, along with such names as Manuel Cardoso and Filipe de Magalhães. Lobo, also known under his latinized name Eduardus Lupus, began his musical career studying under the famous Manuel Mendes. He thence worked his way up to the position of mestre de capela at the Lisbon cathedral, one of the most prestigious musical appointments in Portugal.
