Having discovered Dubstep in 2007, DFRNT jumped at the opportunity to try his hand at production. He had worked on a number of styles in the past, all developing out of his previous production work on mashups and bootlegs. Within a few weeks, he had worked up a furious remix of Dead Prez’s “Hip Hop” and with a solid base of feedback, decided to work on a number of entirely original tracks. Yolke

Over time the 4-piece psych/ambient unit Yolke have swum between bittersweet confusion and thick lucid sonics, and crackled forward their 2010 debut EP Poppy Wash, which not so much leaves their conception behind, but instead stows it in the subconscious.
Formed while field researching sound in Melbourne early 2008, they began playing live in October of the same year, and have since dotted many nights with technocolour soundscapes and phosphorous encrusted beats.

Hal Willner

Hal Willner (born 1957, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American music producer working in recording, films, TV and live events. He is best known for assembling tribute albums and events featuring a wide variety of artists and musical styles (jazz, classical, rock, Tin Pan Alley). His first tribute album was Armacord Nino Rota in 1981. In the 1970s he worked under record producer Joel Dorn. He became music supervisor of Saturday Night Live in 1981, a position he still holds. He was also a producer of the TV program Sunday Night hosted by David Sanborn.

theapplesofenergy is the one man ambient/experimental project of Steven Gribbin, from the small town of Croy in Scotland. He has released an array of eps and mini albums aswell as remixes of various bands be it big or small, and mutual friends. Most of his releases are made original even if purely due to a small difference in packaging or wording therein, and are customised personally by hand by Steven Gribbin himself. They are released freely in small numbers and often follow a theme.
