The Contortionist

There are two artists called The Contortionist. 1) A band from Indianapolis: Bottom heavy open chords that resonate strong enough to shake the core of the earth. Skyrocketing bursts of oscillating guitar leads layer an ominous and dark undercurrent of rhythm. While hardcore punk may be the sound that rules the day in The Contortionist hometown of Indianapolis, it is the band

The Gutter Brothers

What follows is a year by year outline of the history of the band - it goes on a bit, but quite a lot went on! There are many more tales to tell over and above this summary of events, and many people who really deserve a mention - there were five of us in the band but we could never have achieved half of what we did without so many fantastic friends and associates, and corny though it is, without all the thousands of fans who, let's face it, were the reason we were able to avoid getting grown up jobs for so long :) We intend to add some links and more content to this section in future...

Capital Cities

L.A.’s Capital Cities arrive with a little sonic head rush called ‘Safe and Sound’, an easy, breezy, beautiful slice of effervescent electro-pop that even comes complete with a massive ‘trumpets-in-da-club’ bit that absolutely kills it. (Neon Gold) The song has catchy indie stylings and features the beloved vintage Juno-106 keyboard that gives the production such a comforting retro vibe. (Arjan Writes) It's a scorcher bound to make your dance-infused taste buds sizzle. The music swarms with outside-of-the-box tendencies, jam-packed full of life, energy and unusual yet fantastic sounds.

Conrad

(Barbadian Metal Band)
Conrad was summoned on August 5th 2009 and have since released two demos which reflect heavily on empathy and dark fantasy. On the band’s first anniversary, Oseaan Kroniek is created and goes deep onto the profound void of the Caribbean Sea; sharing tales of Neptune, Olokun and Stede Bonnet. Conrad recently drifted into the sinister side of the Pagan Caribbean Roots invoking Orishas and unleashing pure Afro-Pandemonium. The upcoming –Conrad Within- demo will showcase far more darker and ritualistic themes and sounds while scratching the surface of Conrad’s potential.
