Carl Barât

Carl Ashley Raphael Barât (born June 6, 1978) was co-frontman of punk and indie rock revivalists The Libertines with Peter Doherty. He was also the frontman and lead guitarist in the band Dirty Pretty Things. Early life Carl Barât was born in Basingstoke, England and grew up in the nearby town of Whitchurch, England. According to a September 2004 interview with Blender Magazine, Barât had mentioned to have a French, Polish, and Russian ethnic background.

Stomper 98

Stomper 98 gründeten sich im Januar 1998. Eine komplette Besetzung mit Niko (Gesang), Holgi (Saxophon), Sebi (Bass), Michel (Gitarre), Nudel (Gitarre) und Shorty (Schlagzeug) stand erst im Oktober 1998. Die bis dahin eingespielten Stücke wurden musikalisch überarbeitet und verbessert. Bereits Ende Oktober 1998 wurden 6 Stücke im Tonstudio eingespielt, von denen 4 Songs auf die im Februar 1999 erste veröffentliche EP bei Blind Beggar Records erschienen. Das erste Konzert fand am 6. Oktober 1998 in Göttingen zusammen mit Les Partisans aus Frankreich statt, hier noch ohne Nudel.

Tight Finks

Tight Finks are Avarel (drums,vox), Bix (bass,vox) and Jamous T.B. (guitar, vox) - three punkrockers, hailing from the country of chocolate and purple cows, Switzerland. They like punkrock that was played around the year 1977 and bands like 999, The Vibrators, The Adicts, The Boys, The Buzzcocks etc.
They are together since 1995 and released three LPs:

Absent Kid

Hailing from deepest, darkest Essex, Absent Kid are a five piece who play an energetic brand of indie-pop. Fronted by brothers Martin and Richard Williams, the band began gigging around their native Colchester and soon earned favourable comparisons to Idlewild, Radiohead and Pavement. After a few ventures to London, the fledgling Absent Kid would soon get their first break after winning the Diesel U-Music Award for Best New Rock act.
