The Coronas

The band originally formed when the members were just 15 and students in Terenure College. The band was initially known as 'Kiros' but changed its name and line-up three years later to 'Corona'. When the Italian dance act Corona re-emerged, the band changed their name again to 'The Coronas'. The band's debut album Heroes Or Ghosts was released on the 5th of October 2007, debuting at no. 21 in the Irish album charts [1].

Kerbdog

Kerbdog are a heavy rock band from Kilkenny in the Republic of Ireland who began writing in 1991. Their music has been described as "an unbending alloy of matt-black, titanium-tough metal and shimmering melody.", in contrast to compatriots U2's "fake authenticity" and the "tyranny of soul" espoused by Van Morrison. U2 & Van Morrison being from very different areas naturally! Kerbdog were formed in 1991 by Cormac Battle (vocals/guitar), Colin Fennelly (bass guitar) and Darragh Butler (drums) under the repressive regime of the Christian Brothers.

Declan O'Rourke

Declan O'Rourke is a gold record singer/songwriter from Ballyfermot Dublin, Ireland. At the age of 13, when living in Australia with his family, O'Rourke was given his first guitar by a priest in Kyabram who recognised his potential and love for music; Hence the title of his debut album "Since Kyabram", which was released in October 2004. The album's launch took place over three sold-out nights in Whelan’s of Wexford St, Dublin and was broadcast live on national radio. It entered the official Irish album charts at Number 5 and was the only new Irish entry in the Top 75 album chart that week.

Backwater

There are at least 3 bands with the name Backwater: (1) Backwater (Germany) Thrash Metal band formed in 1981 who released two full-length albums: "Revelation" (1984) and "Final Strike" (1986). Changed name to Tai Pan, releasing "Slow Death" (1995), and then changed their name again to X-Ray, under which they released "Dehumanized" (1996).

Currently cutting a swathe through the musical scene of Bradford and the North of England are battle-hardened metallers, The Gods of Hellfire. This newly formed collection of grisly lovers of the riff are ready to take the country by storm with their no holds barred, down tuned, pedal to the metal riff assault. Taking their cues from veterans such as Trouble and Black Sabbath, as well as adding the contemporary sound of more modern bands such as Grand Magus and High on Fire, the band wear their influences on their sleeve without ever falling into the trap of being clones.

Born on the 10th October 1989 John Patrick Ryan is a singer/song writer from Co. Limerick Ireland. Reaching 2nd place in his age group at Irish Dancing and numerous sporting awards, John's tallent is varied but his passion lies with Music.
Having helped write and produce the songs for a local concert and giving guitar lessons, John keeps in the musical line, ever varying his skills. Recently he began writing lyrics for his own music and has now started recording his first album.
