Contact Play are an underground hip-hop act from Brighton and Cambridge,UK. The group is made up of 5 friends; Dirty Dike, Mr Key, Ronnie Bosh, EDWARD SCISSORTONGUE and Jam Baxter who have been playing clubs and pubs for many years, but only recently released their first recorded album 'Champion Fraff'. Jam Baxter and Dirty Dike, along with Jay Rap form SMB crew and have a mixtape called SMB proudly presents, which features most of Contact Play. www.myspace.com/contactplay

Blade

1. Born in the Armenian quarter of Iran, Blade came to London aged 7. Within months of arriving, he felt the effect of the Islamic revolution back home. Unable to send money out of the country, Blade’s family could no longer support him. So, with no money, no family, alone in a strange country, Blade’s self-reliance and determination were all he had to see him through. The microphone, the studio and the stage provided his only release.

It wasnt until my mum confiscated my Onyx - Bakdafukup album that I realised I actually like the music too! Some years and months and weeks later I found myself being stitched up in a nightclub for selling boogleland mudcloths and ended up serving a bit of time at her majesties pleasure.

Genesis Elijah was born Nathaniel Winston Joseph Bygrave on 1st July 1981. A prolific and well-known MC on the London scene and beyond, Genesis Elijah has released several recordings in his own right, firstly "Jah Bless" 12" on Dominant 3rd Records/Country boy then a full length album "Deh pon Road" on Broken Souls / Brave Music to critical acclaim.
