Captain

Captain are an English band from London, UK, who formed in early 2005. They perform a range of alternative pop songs, getting their musical influences from groups such as the Smashing Pumpkins, The Beach Boys, My Bloody Valentine and The Cure. The band was signed to EMI achieving minor chart success in 2006 with their singles Broke and Glorious, which reached numbers 34 and 30, respectively on the UK Top 40. Their début album, This Is "Hazelville," reached number 23 on the UK Albums Chart.

Ben Parcell

I'd like to introduce you to the multi instrumentalist, singer/songwriter Ben Parcell. Ben is influenced from a wide range of music such as The Beatles, The Ataris, Frank Turner, Elvis Costello, Green Day. Taking elements from Pop, Folk, Pop Punk and Classical music, Ben creates a catchy original sound which has been perfecting whilst performing and writing songs since 2003. He played over 40 gigs with his previous pop punk band "The Trailers" before recently deciding to go solo.

The Snap Elect

The Snap Elect formed in London in 2009, drawing on musicians from London, Glasgow and Aberdeen. They began work on their debut album, tentatively titled Mangled Angle Land, amid a flurry of London gigs, wowing audiences with vibrant harmonies, pop melodies (culled from an era when melodies actually went 'pop') and dynamic chord changes. Citing influences such as the Move, Badfinger, Dukes of Stratosphear and Todd Rundgren, TSE now find themselves poised to unleash their uniqe brand of 'Powergum' to record-buying, mp3-downloading music lovers everywhere.

Janey and the Ravemen

Goes like this..... Johnny Kaiser (drummer) and his wife Jane (singer) decided they'd like to record some tunes together.
They asked Brad Dallaston to join them on bass - they now had a stable unit which could play together.
They then initiated the talents of like- minded guitarists, who joined them from far flung places such as Essex, Scotland and Norway as and when they could, with the prospect of recording some songs. Very soon this happened and "Stay Away From Boys", their first LP was made, featuring Kaiser George and Ed Turner on guitars.

The Quarrymen

The Quarrymen was the 1957-1959 name of the band which was later renamed Johnny and The Moondogs, which was later renamed The Silver Beetles, which was later renamed The Beatles. From Wikipedia: The Quarrymen (sometimes written as The Quarry Men) (circa late 1956 - Oct 1959) are an English skiffle group formed in Liverpool in the latter part of 1956 by John Lennon with several school friends. It was the band that eventually evolved into The Beatles. The group's name was inspired by the name of the Quarry Bank grammar school, which Lennon and most of his band-mates attended.

Audio Republic

AudioRepublic is the reformation of Leeds Indie Rock quartet formally known as Otherside. Between 2005 and early 2009 Otherside enjoyed escalating regional success around Leeds following three Studio recorded EPs and a handful of positive reviews from the BBC and local music press. They also held the record for most tickets sales for an unsigned band at The Cockpit in Leeds. With the New Year the boys decided to start afresh.
