Abacination

Abacination (from Derbyshire, England and formed in August 2007) make angry music for angry people; a blend of metal which was forged as a violent mixture of thrash, hardcore, death and grindcore. As members of now defunct thrash band Mechanism, guitarist Tom Bower and drummer Matt Bradley wanted to push themselves and play heavier, more technical music so decided to jam together in Tom's shed, covering songs by artists such as Machine Head and Misery Index.

D-66

Kick-ass one-man-blues-terror-band kept for far too long in a damp basement in London's Murder Mile where he developed an angry delta-punk. The skinning of his Resonator-Guitarre to the stomping beat of his stripped down drums, lays the foundation to his screaming and howlin' vocals. You have to see it to fully experience the force of this return of trash blues. Played with The Parkinsons & Blood Safari. Gigs with The Unsane. Tour of Italy with Country Teasers.

Anni Piper

Any list of awesome Aussies should include Anni Piper. An outstanding bassist in her own right, she's an authentic roots blues rocker that possesses a voice to die for. It has even been touted that an appropriate compliment would be that she sounds 100% American! Anni remembers with clarity the first time she heard the blues back in her school days. “It was Paul Butterfield Blues Band playing ‘Born in Chicago’ - I knew straight away that this was the direction I was heading.” she says.
