The Head Cat

Lemmy (Motorhead), Slim Jim Phantom (The Stray Cats) and Danny B. Harvey (Rockats, 13 Cats, Lonesome Spurs) playing old school rock and roll together. The Head Cat is a rockabilly supergroup formed by Lemmy, Slim Jim Phantom and Danny B. Harvey after recording the Elvis Presleytribute album Swing Cats, A Special Tribute to Elvis in 2000. After recordings were finished the guys hanged around and Lemmy picked up an acustic guitar and started playing some of his old favorite songs by Johnny Cash, Buddy Holly and Eddie Cochran and the rest of they guys knew them all and joined in.

Taste

More than one artist shares this name. 1) Taste was formed in Cork, Ireland in August 1966 as a trio consisting of Rory Gallagher on guitars & vocals, Eric Kitteringham on bass, and Norman Damery on drums. In their early years Taste played around the UK before becoming regulars at Maritine Hotel, an R&B club in Belfast, Northern Ireland. In 1968 the original lineup split. The new lineup formed with Richard McCracken on bass and John Wilson on drums.

The Grand is a power-quartet from Oslo, Norway that plays "dirty and razor-sharp, but still highly psychedelic and eclectic" music. In 2007, they released an EP in and an eponymous LP and are currently recording their next album.

Crime & the City Solution

Crime & the City Solution were a rock group headed by Australian singer/songwriter Simon Bonney and active between the years of 1977-1991. Despite roots dating back as far as 1978, Crime & the City Solution did not truly emerge until 1984, coming to life in the wake of the dissolution of the seminal Birthday Party. Crime & the City Solution had many members over the years, which can be divided into four distinct line-ups: Sydney in 1977-78, Melbourne in 1979, and two groupings in Berlin. The only common member in all four line-ups was Bonney.

Born in Kentucky, Steve Thorpe is currently living on the East Coast of Florida in the U.S.A. Steve is a straight-ahead aggressive blues guitar player and singer. Even though known for his hard hitting Chicago/Texas style, Steve will occasionally pull out a dobro and do a set of his favorite delta songs if the mood hits and the crowd is right. All blues, all the time...except when Todd Taylor calls and says bring a dobro and lets do some pickin'.

HITMAN BLUES BAND

The Hitman Blues Band-Russell “Hitman” Alexander Russell Alexander is the founder and creator of “The Hitman Blues Band”. Thus, he has become: Russell “Hitman” Alexander, or more simply, Hitman. He grew up with in a musical thanks to his father, Ray Alexander. Ray was a jazz musician (drummer and vibist), who performed worldwide with many of the jazz greats that we hold so dear today, as well as having three recordings out and playing on several others. Ray received a lifetime achievement doctorate at Long Island’s Five Towns College, a music oriented accredited university.
